Prof. Yogesan Kanagasingam: finalist for WA Australian of The Year 2015 Award

Prof. Kanagasingam, or Yogi, as he prefers to be known, was a 2010 Fulbright Senior Scholar at Stanford University. Based at CSIRO’s Floreat site in Perth, Yogi is Research Director at the Australian e-Health Research Centre. His stellar work in the area of eye research and delivery of eye care around the world has been recognised in his recent nomination as a state finalist for the Western Australia Australian of the Year 2015 Award. Alongside the other Western Australia nominees announced recently, we wish Yogi well when the awards are announced at a reception in Government House Ballroom in Perth on November 15. Each of the individuals listed has done exceptional work to be deserving of their nomination.
